PSA dog training // North West UKDevelop the dog. Develop the handler. Build a team ready for the sport.
PSA — Protection Sports Association — combines obedience and controlled protection in a competitive dog sport.
Dog-and-handler teams work through increasingly demanding scenarios. Training develops clear communication, commitment and control, with the trial field as a shared goal.
Art of the Bite is a dedicated PSA club within TTB Dog Training. We work on the dog, the handling and the decoy skills that help a competitive team move forward.
Clear objectives, progressive sport training and constructive feedback for dogs and handlers.
Bring the details together through consistent practice and thoughtful trial preparation.
Develop decoy skills, support other members and create more opportunities to train and compete.
Structured training creates better dogs, better handlers and stronger teams. High standards and a constructive club culture belong together.
Practical experience on both sides of the training field.
Ozzi became the first German Shepherd outside the United States to enter PSA3. That experience informs the work here: developing a team through the demands of training and competition.
Consistent participation, clear training objectives and responsibility for your dog and your handling.
Progress through constructive coaching, honest review and attention to the details that matter.
Respect other members. Contribute to the training environment. Prepare for trials as part of a club.
Consistent training. Structured progression. A place in the club. Choose the weekly group and private-session balance that suits your goals.
